Description
The Sidney HTC Rotating Tree Shear for skid steers has multiple uses, you can cut a tree down, pivot the shear from inside your cab and cut the tree into sections. Pick up the sections and carry them away. Reach up and trim a standing tree. Clear downed trees quickly and easily.
The “World’s Best Tree Shear” is just what Sidney says it is. The Sidney Tree Shear is a commercial grade tree shear built exclusively to be used with Skid Steer Loaders. It has the standard rotation feature that has made this model of shear so popular, but it is now more powerful than ever. The HTC has the largest cylinder and porting of any tree shear available. The larger porting and valving allow the flow of your machine to increase the speed of the cut. In addition, the HTC uses a 5.5″ bore cylinder on the 14” model, and a 6” on the 16” model which increases the overall cutting power by 23% to 40% over our previous models.
This feature has actually been helpful to people with less powerful hydraulic systems because it gives them more power overall where they need it most. Example: Your machine has only 2250 PSI of pressure. You can boost the power by using the commercial model because of the larger cylinder size. It will run a bit slower because of the larger porting and cylinder, but you will end up with 23% more power than the same machine with the TB-02.
