What you gain in durability you sacrifice in efficiency, and Promac suggests a combination of Carbide and their other (Chipper, Beaver) styles of teeth.

Replacing Promac’s Chipper Teeth?
If replacing the standard Chipper Teeth with these double carbides, you will need this adapter from Promac as well. These adapters are used with the Double Carbide as well as the Beaver teeth, but not with the Chipper style teeth.
