FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Orders are shipped through Canada Post, Armour Transportation Systems or UPS, depending on the products purchased. Firearms, optics and accessories are generally shipped through Canada Post. Ammunition, primers, reloading powder, solvents and aerosols must travel by ground courier and cannot be delivered to a PO box. Firearms and ammunition are shipped separately, and a signature is required when parcels are delivered.
The Gun Dealer does not ship firearms, firearm parts or ammunition—including primers and powder—to the United States. Dangerous goods must be transported by ground service and may carry additional shipping charges. Free-shipping promotions exclude oversized packages, extended delivery areas, ammunition, powder and other regulated goods. Customers should inspect each shipment before signing for delivery.
Most orders are dispatched within one to two business days. Orders containing a non-restricted firearm or ammunition may require an additional 24 hours for licence verification. Other regulated purchases may require additional processing time while the necessary authorization is completed.
A valid Possession and Acquisition Licence is required when purchasing firearms or ammunition. Your PAL information can be entered during checkout and retained on your account until it expires. A PAL is not required for general merchandise that does not include firearms or ammunition.
