The Carbide Teeth hold up much longer (up to 500 hrs vs. 40-100 hrs for chipper teeth), especially in rocky conditions, but do not cut as efficiently and cannot be sharpened. This listing is for a full set of 34 Double Carbide Teeth,
Since rocks are more likely to come in contact with the outside edges of the drum, Promac recommends purchasing their 16 carbide teeth kit for the outside 4 rows of the drum (16 teeth), and leaving the more efficient chipper teeth in the center, directly in front of the operator.
