Description
he Eterra Vortex Skid Steer Stump Grinder is built to grind stumps down to 18 inches below ground, giving operators the power to completely remove stubborn stumps and prepare the land for replanting or construction. At the heart of the Vortex is a high-torque radial piston motor, designed to convert 95% of hydraulic energy into horsepower. This means more power to the cutting wheel with less wasted energy, resulting in faster, more efficient grinding. The direct drive system with an oil bath enclosed hub eliminates the need for external couplers and constant greasing, keeping maintenance low and uptime high.
The asymmetrical high-strength alloy steel wheel gives operators a clear line of sight, making it easier to position the grinder for precise cuts. This unique wheel design also spreads the workload evenly across the 12 replaceable cutting teeth, rock guards, and abrasion-resistant wear plates, extending their lifespan. Built from A572 Grade 50 high-strength steel, the Vortex is made to handle the toughest jobs. An elongated rubber chip guard absorbs impact and controls debris, keeping the work area cleaner. NOTE: A case drain is necessary for this attachment’s operation to prevent motor failure.
